Dr. Scrivner devoted his life’s work to promoting the health of others and was committed to improving the quality of life for all of the citizens of this county.

He set an example of how the community, health professionals, and government must work together for the public's health.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Health Department and the 15th anniversary of the Scrivner Foundation: 
The Scrivner Foundation Dinner was heald May 6th at the Regency Conference Center in O'fallon, IL  . Our keynote speaker was U.S. Rep. Jerry Costello.    Costello served as County Board Chairman when the Board of Health was formed 25 years ago.
